About the Experience

What is included in the wine tasting tour?
Our 2-hour sailing experience includes a guided wine tasting, light charcuterie, and begins with a 30-minute swim stop in beautiful ocean waters. You’ll enjoy carefully selected wines while taking in stunning coastal views.

How long is the tour?
The full experience lasts approximately 2 hours, including sailing, tasting, and swim time.

What makes this tour unique?
We carry boutique craft wine, straight from the vintner himself as well as fruit wines from the #1 winery in the state. Our tour combines an exquisite personal tasting session with ocean adventure—sailing, swimming, and scenic views—all in a small-group, relaxed setting.

Swimming & Ocean Time

Is swimming required?
Swimming is optional. Guests are welcome to stay onboard and relax if they prefer not to swim.

Where do we swim?
We settle our boat off the shores of Waikiki near Diamond head, in waters suitable for snorkeling, swimming, and floating, depending on ocean conditions that day.

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
Basic swimming ability is required. Swimmers are overseen by certified crew members. However this is a moment of leisure for guests and isn't intended to be instructional.

Is snorkeling included?
Snorkeling is highly recommended! Water visibility can vacillate, but much of the time it is crystal clear. We do not supply snorkel gear. Please bring your own fins, mask, and snorkel if you intend to see the vast and beautiful world beneath the surface. If you don't own your own gear, rental gear can be purchased by day or by week at many hotels. For your convenience, rental gear can be purchased at Honolulu Snorkel Company in the Harbor.

Wine & Tastings

What kind of wines will we taste?
We feature a rotating selection of craft, boutique, and minimal-intervention wines with an emphasis on quality and story-driven producers.

How many wines are included?
Enjoy four uniquely selected wine samplings and one local rum tasting during the experience.

Can you accommodate non-drinkers?
Yes! Non-drinkers are welcome. Please let us know when booking so we might better accommodate you with non-alcoholic beverage options.

What to Bring

What should I bring?
We recommend bringing:

Reef-safe sunscreen

Light jacket or cover-up

Sunglasses

Motion sickness medication (if needed)

*If swimming we recommend a swimsuit & towel and also a change of clothes. You will be able to change into dry clothes for the duration of the tour and tasting.

What should I wear?
This depends entirely on you and how formal or casual you would like to make this occasion. Casual, comfortable clothing that can get wet is great if you are planning on a swim. However, we also invite those that want to dress up for a glamorous time wine tasting to take the opportunity and treat yourself.

Logistics

How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 15–20 minutes before departure time.

Is transportation included?
Transportation is not included, but parking and rideshare options are nearby.

Safety & Cancellation Policy

Is the tour safe?
Yes. Safety equipment is onboard, and our crew is trained and experienced. As per coast guard regulations, we will go over safety procedures before setting sale. We want to make sure you feel well informed personally and protected by the crew.

Is there an age requirement?
Guests must be 21+ to participate in the wine tasting. Children 12 and under can be accommodated on a chartered cruise but are not recommended for individual ticket holding cruises. As per the coast guard, children 12 and under need to wear a life vest at all times while on board.

What if the weather is bad?
If weather or ocean conditions are unsafe, we’ll reschedule or refund your booking.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made within 72 hours receive a full refund. Partial refunds are given at 48 hours. Refunds will not be given for cancellations inside 24 hours before the tour. Please be mindful that our tours are semi-private and our cancellation policy is out of respect for our hard-working crew members.

Is this good for birthdays, anniversaries, or proposals?
Absolutely! Our tours are perfect for celebrations and intimate moments. Private charters are also available if you'd like to create a unique and memorable event.
